About
Georgia is an environmental activist who seeks to educate her community on practical ways to protect the environment. As a high schooler, she lectured her father on the perils of plastic sandwich baggies and urged him to stop using them, and her cousin points out that she was ahead of her time by carrying reusable bags back in the 1990s.
Georgia completed her certification as a Rutgers Environmental Steward in 2021 and is a member of both her town’s and her children’s elementary school Green Team.
Georgia believes that being “green” isn’t only about recycling. Sustainability, in fact, can be incorporated into practically anything and our everyday choices make a difference.
Georgia is a transplant from Seattle, Washington and lives in Northern New Jersey with her husband and two children.
